The Challenge
This SaaS product had a leaky funnel.
Users were signing up, but few were sticking.
Low engagement, weak onboarding, and high churn were stalling revenue growth.
Key problems
- Daily Active Users (DAU) were flat.
- Churn within 7 days was killing LTV.
- Product experience was fragmented, not guided.

What I Did
- Built a data-driven prioritization system focused on post-signup success.
- Designed and tested onboarding flows that aligned value delivery with user intent.
- Launched a beta testing + user research program to extract insight, not just feedback.
- Used analytics to identify aha moment triggers, then engineered flows around them.
- Set up a retention dashboard and pair it with experimentation sprints.
How I Think
You donβt grow retention by throwing features at churn.
You grow it by aligning behaviour, value, and timing.
This work was about engineering user habits, not just adding features.
